Designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom, this longer version of the RARE-SPARES™ Handbrake Extender is designed for use with motorhomes (and other commercial vehicles) where, due to the height of the seats, the standard handbrake position is too low for ease of use.

There are handbrake extenders from other manufacturers available but our research has indicated they all suffer from one or more design deficiencies.

For example, one current design has the handbrake release motion in the opposite direction to convention. You need to push the operating lever away from you to release it.

Another uses exhaust type U-bolts for fixing that gives a very 'DIY' appearance.
