There are handbrake extenders from other manufacturers available but our research has indicated they all suffer from one or more design deficiencies.

For example, one current design has the handbrake release motion in the opposite direction to convention. You need to push the operating lever away from you to release it.

Another product directed at disabled users has exhaust type U-bolts for fixing that give a very 'DIY' appearance.
